Does it hurt a computer if you lay it on its belly?

Some, I have noticed, such as the Inspiron 531s were made to lay on its belly, or stand up like a normal tower. So my question is, if I lay mine down will it hurt it?

Most computers can be layed down sideways without any problems, but make sure that you lay it down the best way...this woulc be so that the ports on the back are nearest the bottom.

No. You can run it in any position, as long as the airflow is not restricted. Upside down is a good change of pace.
