I knew they would get back on track. Tomlin seems like the type that would keep them disciplined and focused. He's a no-nonsense kinda guy, like Cowher but without the jaw, the yelling and the spitting. The loss of Porter wasn't a big deal cuz they got Woodley and Timmons. Woodley already has two sacks in three games. Willie just keeps gettin' better and Santonio is becoming more of a threat. They're definitely in the top 3 teams in the AFC if not the NFL. And it's not because they've only played the Browns(they beat the Bungals), Bills(they scored two TDs on the Pats, none on us), and the 49ers(only allowed 39 yards by Gore). They've outscored their opponents 97-26, only allowing 2 meaningless TDs after they were already blowing the other team out.

You shouldn't have worried about the Steelers. They just suffered from Murphy's law last year. Losing Porter was nothing. They seem to have a linebacker garden up there to replace anyone who leaves with someone as good. Remember when Greg Lloyd got hurt and the linebacker corps got even better? They also had the best corps ever back in the 70's with Russell, Ham, and Lambert.

3-0 is the best place to be at the moment. But after watching that Ravens/Cardinals game, I think this will be our toughest game yet (I'll probably say that every week). Hopefully, we won't let them have a comeback like Baltimore did, but you know they'll be up for this because of Whiz. We also don't know which QB they'll start after they yanked Leinart yesterday, so they'll probably have to prepare for both and contain Edgerrin James (I hope the streak of no 100-yard rushers continues). I'll enjoy this win until about Wednesday, then I'll start worrying about Arizona.
Cheers!

My guess is that Mike Tomlin isn't being turned away for any dinner reservations in Pittsburgh. ; )
It's been a lot of fun watching them in the first 3 games. I see them heading into the bye week 5-0, after beating AZ and Seattle over the next two weeks. Then we go into the meat of our schedule, and lock horns with the divisional teams. I love our chances there..and I expect a good measure of revenge against the Ravens.

Right on brother. While we're on a roll now, the test will come against, the Patriots, Bungals, and Ravens. If the special teams hold up, the running game stays in tact, the O-line stays healthy, and Big Ben continues to make plays, we'll be in great shape.

Good start; but the proof will be against the Bungals and the Derty Birds.

Hold back your joy until they play a good team. From the looks of Arizona, they won't scare anybody.

its a fluke man.. Week 1 they played the Browns, although they did score in the 50's against the bengals, they are now very good. week 2 they played the disasterous Bills , who can't get an offense going at all and very young on defense, score of that game should have been worse. their lack of execution in the red zone made the game closer than it was. then week 3 they played the undefeated 49ers, who played decent at best against the Cardinals in week 1 and poorly in week 2 against the Rams. So before getting too excited wait till they play someone that is any good then see where they stand. so far its been a cake walk thru their cake schedule they were blessed with once again
