It's usually 75 cents per toll. It's $1 close to the airport.
There are alternative routes that'll take you between Orlando and Disney area instead of using 528.
For instance, depending on where you are staying at, you could take I-4 and that'll bring you to Disney.
Or 535 and 536. There are lots of ways to save a little money.
However, if you have to use it.. the last exit before toll from I-4 East is Orange Blossom Trail. Before that are exits for International Drive, Universal Blvd and SeaWorld.

From the Airport to Disney, the 528 Tolls would be $1.50 one way. But it depends on where you are staying and where you get on and off the road
The section of 528 West of Orange Blossom Trail to I-4 is free, no tolls.
There is a 75 cent toll gate near the airport, then another just 4 miles west.
If you are not in Orlando, but staying at the beach there is another $1.25 tollgate going to and coming from the beach

depends where on 528 you are getting on. If you are getting on at Internation drive, all the way to OBT it is free. After OBT there are tolls. I believe to get to the Airport it costs a total $2.50 and to cocoa beach $3.50
Hope this helps

There's no public transportation but some hotels do offer free shuttle to Disney. Besides that you're only form of transportation to Disney is taking a taxi or renting a car.
