Yes it's good, don't listen to the other idiot, most DSL connections are only like 5 mbps, you must have a fiber connection in order to achieve 100 mbps, like Verizon.

100 Mbps (mega-bits per second) is what the standard ethernet port can carry. I doubt your internet speed is that high. FiOS, (fiber optic service) is currently the fastest consumer internet, and that runs about 30 Mbps. What you are probably seeing is the speed of your port, which is capable of handling that speed.
If you hit alt+ctrl+delete and go to network, you will see a graph and it will start at 0.1% and as you use the internet it will go up and down. 1% is 1Mbps by seeing where is it on the graph you could get a good guide to your speed.
-As a rule of thumb, FiOS is up to 30Mbps,
-Cable is up to 10Mbps (sometimes more if they boost and your service) and as low as 2Mbps(some companies cap your speed).
-DSL can be up to 2Mbps and as low as 784Kbps (.784 Mbps)

I seriously doubt you are really connected at 100.0 mbps...mine says that too down at the bottom when you hover over the LAN icon...when really my connection is only 3.0 mbps go to this site and check what it really is....http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/

Wonderful! Haven't heard of anyone with one as fast as that. Mines variable between 1.5 and 1.7 Mbps. Don't wish to insult you but are you sure you don't mean 1.0Mbps. or 100.0kbps? (this last is terrible).
