I was on birth control for about 4 months and hated every minute of it. I quit taking it about a week ago. My b/f and I had sex on Saturday and he came inside. Since late last night I have been spotting and having some mild cramps. Does anyone know what the bleeding and cramping mean. It didn't start until after we had sex. I am under some mild stress. Could I have gotten pregnant from Saturday, or is my cycle off from the pill and the sex just brought it on. Has anyone had something similar to this? If I could be prego, when would be the best time to take a test to see. Thanks for all your answers. It means a lot to me for your time!

Most likely it's your period. Most of the time when you stop taking birth control, your period comes. I stop taking the pill and even though I decided to stop taking them during the week of my period, like two weeks later I started to have symptoms my period was coming back on, it's just your body adjusting.
If you're not trying to get pregnant, then I would like to suggest, changing your PH balance by douching twice before you have sex and twice after, if you're in the moment, then do it after wards. (that's what works for me)

the bleeding could just be because you have stopped taking your pill and your periods will be a bit all over the place for a while...you will probably have going to be bleeding anyway...just seems that it because of the sex...
yes you could be prego too...you need to wait and see if you get a proper period when your next cycle is normally due then do a test then if you dont get 1...if you dont want to be prego tho, you dont want to be doing anymore unprotected sex till you know what is going on. good luck with whatever happens.x

Hi Kelly ,I`m Don, yes a man ,....well this is my belief?? and I answer your question with what I hope is a bit of light hearted nonsense. Should you be pregnant ,and have a child ,or children ,then the matter of sexual activity will arise ,as ,as to when you and your partner could resume. When my wife, and I ,had our first child I got talking to a chap whose wife had had yet another child ,the fifth as I was told , and I tentatively asked him just when one could resume to have sex. He replied that it depended . Depended on what asked I . On whether or not your wife is in a ward on her own was his reply . So Kelly ,as I have no idea of the veracity of his response as to when, I hope that I have given you something to make you smile.
All very best for your future ,Don

Kelly, it is simply a rough period. Now you think birth control is a pain, try having babies when you aren't ready for them. Sex isn't a game now stop being anal and get yourself protected before you have sex again. This country is full of kids raised by irresponsible parents.
