It seems many of the very Liberial and very ignorant post on this an many other boards is coming from teens. This is because they are still to young and ignorant to tell truth from enemy propaganda and often spout it not because they know what it means but just because they want to look cool. Isn't it time parents took control and started monitoring what these children are doing. I say no unsupervised Internet for kids under 18!

Many of the teens who wrote felt it was not possible to filter the Internet. That seemed rediculas to me. Simply move the computer into the living room and keep a watch over their shoulder. No high tech solution needed. Just family togetherness.

You write “still to young and ignorant” I suppose as an actual example of your concerns. The use of the Internet by children should be supervised due to a number of possible adverse influences.

As a liberal, and as a teenager, I feel quite offended by your comments.

First above all, just because we don't agree with you, it doesn't mean that we are ignorant. And I'll have you know that people my age won't be posting liberal remarks online if they want to look cool. Most of them who want to look cool are simply apolitical.

Second above all, you're idea of limiting Internet access for children under 18 is simply undemocratic. We have the right to express ourselves. If you want to go to a country where this right is limited in the name of upholding other beliefs, then Saudi Arabia awaits you.

Finally, I have to ask you just what is an enemy and what is propaganda. Are enemies just people who think differently from you? Is propaganda just people expressing their feelings on things? I think you should ponder long and hard on what you've just posted and ask yourself if that really is the true democratic way.

Yes, my children should never have to see the hate speech that is posted by the republicans which apparently are enemies of the constitution and all that it stands for.

Exactly how would you accomplish this filtering feet? The only way to completely "filter" the internet would be to restrict access to it.
