I took out my nuvaring 4 days ago and my period still has not come. I had a negative pregnancy test yesterday

I'm having terrible cramping and back pain. Could I be pregnant? It would be my 2nd.

my doctor just prescribed this for me but after reading stuff about it, I am not sure about its effectiveness especially if its not put in right or something.

I would get checked out at the doctors if the pain is not going away just to be sure. You don't want an ectopic pregnancy.

Wait for a few days and if your period not there yet, get a pregnancy test done. The best is blood test to determine the HCG level. Good luck.
