I was on QT about 7 years ago and my question was picked. You need to ask something that stand out from the usual stuff and you can submit questions in writing just before the start of the programme.

Bear in mind the producers have a topic list in mind and will pick those questions that fit their pre-determined agenda.

I suggest:

"Which party leader should view the prospect of an early election with greatest trepidation?"

That encompasses a whole range of topics.

I'll watch to see that you ask (tell us before you do!)

Top tip: bring a pen and write down your pithy retort before David D. comes back to you to ask you what you think.

Foot and mouth, blue tongue, more soldiers being killed than ever, still no sign of the pensions crisis ending, when are we going to get real policemen on the beat, no idea how many illegal immigrants are here and nothing stopping more arriving, why are we paying child benefit to kids who have never lived here, what is being done regarding the ever shrinking cod stocks in the North Sea or has this been forgotten, what are you doing to help the Zimbabwean people,

A few thoughts there.

Ohhh have fun - and wave to me! I always watch that.

Something about Brown and an election?
Alistair Darling and his actions over Northern Rock?

Keep an eye on the news - something might come out of this weeks Labour Party Conf which is good.

I would ask that it is nine months since Tony Blair stated that he would introduce a number of initiatives to help the retuning soldier from service, that this has still not happened - they are just abandoned by the mod - why ?
