Here's a sight regarding "Orders of Protection" in Arkansas that might be helpful.

But since you live in Arkansas, as you know there are NO protective laws regarding same-sex relationships or the GLBT community. So, as the previous answerer had said, your Girlfriend/Partner would have to get this order of protection against her ex in order to protect her children. Legally you have no claim on the children, nor does your partner's ex, since Arkansas also does not have a "second Parent Adoption" law either.

I would, though, have your partner talk to a lawyer and ask you to come along with her.

Here is the HRC page with information regarding the Akansas Custody and Visitation Laws:

My parents both live in the Eureka Springs area and are very active in the Eureka Springs community, I know they just passed a citywide Partner Registration, but it's not recognized by the rest of the state. It's a city thing only. But, any couple from any state/county/town/city may register there.
Eureka Springs is probably the ONLY GLBT friendly town in the state.
So, If you're near or in Eureka Springs I would HIGHLY suggest getting your partnership registered there. It only costs $35 and ALL life partners are welcome to register. Eureka Springs is extremely progressive and diverse.
It might help you two in the long run if her ex persists in her abuse, to show that you and your Partner are a ligitimate couple.
I really strongly suggest if you two can make the trip to Eureka Springs to do so.

Wow, I'm in CA and I know we have specific harassment laws in which you would be able to get a restraining order. I searched for AK laws and there really doesn't seem to be any.

I did find this link which your girlfriend could pursue and TRO for her and the kids, and it looks like if you report everything to the police there is a possibility that you, too, may be able to obtain an order.

Threats of violence are against the law. I would definitely contact the police and, if necessary, an attorney.

bring a copy of your cell phone activity to a judge and apply for the order. Your fear is enough to warrant the order
