Chesty baby question...?

When we were kids and a bit chesty, mum had little yellow capsules that she would snip the end off and drop a liquid onto our clothes. Does anyone have any idea what it is called please??

karvol capsules. you could also try snuffle babe ointment which is safe for babies 3 months and older(i think) - just apply to the chest as you would vicks vaporub on yourself.

Could've been Menthol.
