Yeah everyone did! She was the special guest star. Before they even started filming there was a quiz online and you voted for which Hannah Montana actor would you want to see in High School Musical 2. The winner---Miley! That's explains it!

yeah, there was a vote on the disney channel website ages ago asking with character from hannah montana should be in high school musical 2 and miley cyrus won. it wasn't publicity, it was because that's what the fans voted for.

Yeah, there was a vote on the Disney Channel website whilst the film was being made, on who they wanted to appear in it, and Miley Cyrus won. They also held on vote on what sandwiches Troy and Gabriella should eat on that picnic (Peanut Butter&Jelly), what should be written on one of Chad's Tops (I majored in Vacation) etc..

She is uncredited in the movie, but it is under her credits on www.imdb.com.
I think the reason she isn't credited is because HSM2 was being filmed while Hannah Montana started airing on Disney. So she wasn't as popular when she was the girl by the pool.

Yeah.It was for about a few seconds and she dancing near one of the wild cats.I think his name in real live is Chuck.
