Do NOT buy: Kitchen appliances, a foot bath, or other similar items.
If you are short on cash, sell stuff on ebay and use that to buy jewelry or perfume.
If you are serious about your relationship, go ahead and start to liquidate the things that are "Guy" things. Because a couple of months after you get married, she will go through your things and put them on the curb for the trash guys to haul away.
So, reap a small financial benefit of the poker table, , tacky dogs playing poker on velvet framed art, cheesy unmatched silverware, plates, gym equipment in the living room, the couch, your favorite recliner.... (you get the idea).

Start taking nice pictures, find a nice photo frame, and find the best pic of u two, and get it a little bigger. Send her flowers to her work, so she recieves them there. Take her out for dinner and surprise with a gift at the end. Sell some unwanted stuff, or useless stuff, or get another job, and buy her jewlery.

The picture ideas were really nice..but if you want an item as well try a promise ring...if you're that age where its appropriate..I'd love a ring in general but a promise ring would be special..especially if you plan on being with her forever.

Buy some disposable cameras now and begin to take photos on you and her on dates, then buy a nice photo album and fill it with pictures of you both. She'll love it!
