Well that's how I feel when I go to Sri Lanka. I meet all my relatives there and have a lot of fun and when I come back to the UK its not all that fun. Maybe because you have a different experience in India than you do in Australia. Maybe if you had all your relatives in Australia, you would feel the same about Australia. It's not the country, its where your relatives are.

Our culture in India is entirely different when you compare to Australia. We welcome everybody and give our best to make them comfortable, even if we have to offer our bed and we sleep on ground. There you ask permission from your own and carry your lunch /dinner, drink and return home to catch-up sleep. Husband has no time for wife and children don't get attention of parents other than holidays. In India we have more human attachment but in Australia you are after money.
Therefore India is the best place to live.

It's probably because you like being with your relatives. I live in Australia and I have visited India twice, and they both have good points. India is full of contrasts, both culturally and geographically. It's easy to get around, the people are cool (mostly) the food and the music rocks, etc. Australia has lots of open spaces and brilliant blue skies, there's still lots of wildlife and forests, or deserts. I live in inner Sydney which I like, because there is so much diversity, and people are pretty laid back. The Government sucks, but that should be changing soon. I could quite happily live in India, but I enjoy living in Sydney, it's my home.

Because the place where you stay is common for you but where you are going for outing is a good one and as per you your relatives also in India mean you are an Indian, it also effects that you have your near dear one here in India and rarely find chance to meet them. Also India is full of hospitality and rituals so you can see true love and hospitality to near dear one here. All of them you are missing there in foreign country, where there is no value of feeling and emotions.

Well I have travelled through India and I live in Australia... I have never been groped, sexually harrassed, stalked, grabbed, hassled in Australia. It happened every day in India.

Its not a difference in these countries that causes the change in ur mood or feelings.

Where there is family and friends........ there's happiness.

You might be still having a lot of friends there..... but ur real friends are there back at home. Sometimes i feel i could kill for that happiness, someday i too will return.

Go back to India if you don't like Australia, because as an Aussie I am sick to death of having to share this wonderful country with ungrateful people like you!!!!!!!!!
