Most likely you will be able to, however sometimes you can't. Whether the implant is placed behind the muscle or over it, does not matter. Even some women without breast implants cannot breastfeed. You'll never know until you have the kid.

Yes it is. Inform your plastic surgeon that you are considering breast feeding in the future. They will most likely place the implant under the breast muscle rather than over it. This is becoming the gold-standard of breast augmentation. The previous poster mentioned damage to the nipple. That is of no worry as your surgeon can make the incision for the implant either under the breast or better yet, under the armpit, so your breast and nipple will not be scarred at all. Make sure to discuss these things with your surgeon next time you see him/her. Take care.

Yes, if they place the breast implant behind the muscle, they don't interfere with the breast workings themselves. If the breast implants are placed in front of the muscle, it damages the breast tissue, & it's quite likely then that the milk ducts will be damaged.

No. Your milk ducts get cut up and your nipples moved and the silicone breast is in the way.
