This question has been posted in the context of the recent DMK statement that Ram is pure fiction. A view that I find hilarious and ironical especially when one considers the fact that there has been no irrefutable evidence that Jesus, Mohammed, Moses and Abraham existed either . So why only single out Ram??? This is not the first time that India's political left have used Hinduism as a punching bag in order to exemplify their political views as well as to consolidate votes. I have 2 questions:
1. Why do they only use to bash Hinduism??? If they claim to be impartial and neutral seculars, why not also bash Islam and Christianity??? It is hypocritical for them to claim to be seculars when they have clearly demonstrated a vociferous anti-Hindu attitude.
2. Can psuedo-secularist ideology only be credible and only survive if they bash Hinduism? They spend more time bashing Hinduvta ideology than they spend in discussing the virtues of psuedo-secularism.

Bashing any other religion will require great valor and honesty, which they lack.Bashing Hinduism has become almost a tradition/a hobby to appease the minority and the bosses. Hindus have largely been ignoring them in the past. The bashers are, no doubt a bunch of hypocrites but sadly the tolerant,illiterate and greedy voters have been reelecting them to power. Hindus have been known for their non aggresive character for several centuries and always been an easy target . But the situation is now changing rapidly and the builtup pressure will erupt soon.

You are well aware that any person In India who does not claim other wise is deemed an Hindu. Above all HINDUISM is an religion which never has and will never force any person or individual to do or attend any PUJA at home / temple by force ,unlike other religions ,For Hindus all people of all cast religion are equal and have the same right to survive as per the Hindu culture/ religion .The so called politicians or pseudo -Secularists - Marxists use this CAST / RELIGION as an excuse / platform to gain political advantage for personal gains, as Hindus we are very tolerant and hence all the Hulla gulla about HINDUSIM by all those who are unable to even touch the top layer of the strength and unity the Hindus have in tolerance.It is like a child trying to fight his own mother ,knowing very well that he has to come back to her for her blessings and love, such are the people in the above mentioned sections in our society. No one can prove any thing about any religion as GOD in any manner is only represented by NATURE only as nobody has see the supreme(GOD) asking proof of GOD is only the ignorance of the Intellectuals.

The comment from CMK leader was his personal opinion... now that he is a political leader doesnot mean that all are politically bashing Hinduism.
India has the largest population os hindus..... obviously the religion out there for bashing and cherishing.
All ur above questions....... doesnt make sense at all. Dont u feel stupid out there making such a big deal about this. We all have religions.... we also have our own opinions. If i said Chirstians will rot in hell like muslims.... will this make u happy?
We are Human beings and that will always be first. Our religion is Secondary. U are not going to go out and introduce urself "Hi, iam a Hindu, who worships rama and krishna everyday...."
Only if we INDIANS (Hindus, muslims, Jains, Buddhists, Christians, etc) live together, will this country grow. With such dirty, stupid, cheap thoughts we are never going to grow as a nation.
Maybe u will be happier counting bodies of the dead....by the way which one would u prefer to count in the name of ur god and religion???

Very unfortunate indeed!And to think of it, it is the ppl who are Hindu by faith, badmouth anythn Hindu. but it is really very reassuring to note that the muslims have also come out against destroying the setu. Just shows to prove that indian janta is much more mature than our leaders and the so-called self-proclaimed secular media.
Do u watch NDTV24X7? Whenever thay have to report atrocities against a dalit, they will say dalit been tortured by a upper caste hindu!Well why not mention the caste as well? Is it a brahmin or any other caste? My hunch is that they do not mention the caste as it is not the upper caste like brahmin etc. but a Yadav or such caste that is upper vis a vis a dalit, but otherwise OBC or SC. So they leave it vague and just say 'upper caste'.

Very first reason is that Hindus have failed to pose a unified front in terms of vote bank. The day they do, all your problems would be over. I also do not subscribe to the ideology of RSS wholesale. But I support them as the only organisation active in unifying the Hindu migth.

Ah, I've got it. We learned this in Sociology. Both Islam and Christianity require the need for judgement making. As far as I know this doesn't happen in Hinduism. So, what we have is a load of Christians and Muslims criticising [and of course no Islamic or Christian criticises themselves] and so all criticism is of the poor Hindus..... Interesting..... In addition, Hinduism necesatates the need to accept the 'punishment' of having a lowely position [and of course there's many more people in low positions than in high ones] so the majority of folks accept that they have done somethng bad in a previous life and so deserve condemnation and criticism. So, we have, Hindus, Islamics, and Christians all blaming Hindus...... That's why you have your problem dear fellow.

Mind you, every country in our world today have their own POLITICal parties who have POLITICal issues to discuss and POLITICal agendas to execute. Hence, their aggressive POLITICking.
