Why do so many of you hate Camilla? None of you know her. So, she is older than Diana was, probably a lot wiser too (which wouldn't be diffacult).
Camilla didn't cause the breakdown of Charles' marriage to Diana. Charles' love for Camilla did.

Diana was young, beautiful, glamorous and gave the impression of innocence and shyness. She was also conniving, manipulative, hysterically emotional, immature, flighty, was completely immoral and had no idea what love was. Camilla is not as young nor as attractive as Diana, but she is intelligent, she controls her emotions in public, she has never stopped loving Charles. She is a real woman with whom Charles has a lot in common and I believe they are truly suited and truly in love.

What is worse, a married woman who is genuinely in love with another man, or a married woman who has affair after affair while still claiming to love her (ex-)husband. And in case anyone has forgotten, remember these gentlemen?

Barry Mannakee - body to body guard
David Waterhouse - man in uniform
James Gilbey - loyalty gets its reward
James Hewitt - Di: "I adored him"
Oliver Hoare - paints a nice picture
William Carling - scrum down with rugby star
Doctor Hasnar Khan - knew how to care for a woman
Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For Di
Dodi Fayed - true love at last

People always try to blame someone or something when life does not go as planned.

Charles & Camilla were an item for a very long time before Diana. (20 years I think) Camilla had her affair with Charles while she was married to another man.

I guess neither of them took "forsaking all others" part of their vows seriously.
Neither of them had any regard for their commitments and Charles never had a back bone.

I don't think Camilla was that wise to continue an affair when she was married and then after Charles married to Diana.
It was a recipe for a lot of heart ache.

Not only is she extremely homely (which I agree she can't do much about) but she has absolutely no taste whatsoever. Her marriage with Charles several years after Diana's death provided her with the people and budget necessary to change her hair, makeup and clothing. And of course, she looks much better now. But, she will never in a million years have the class that Princess Diana had. She and Charles go very well together.

Camilla is a hatchet faced trollope who had no respect for her marriage or Charles'. Charles married Diana because Camilla was already married and he needed a younger virgin to produce 'an heir and a spare'. Diana was too emotionally fragile to cope with a loveless marriage and subsequent divorce. Charles had little consideration for Diana or her needs, only his. That's why the majority of English people dislike Camilla and don't want Charles as King or her as his Queen.

I wouldn't say hate, more I'd say...exasperation. This woman basically trotted around after this man "wiping his backside" for him, no matter who he was with (and I don't mean -just- Diana), no matter what the circumstances were. That doesn't sound like love to me, more like stupidity and desperation.

And Diana I think had no clue when she married the guy. Why would she? She was a kid, and she behaved like one in the face of the difficulties she had to deal with. She behaved as stupidly as everyone else involved in this circus. But at least she had the excuse of her youth and inexperience (if she were "experienced" I think EVERYBODY would have been a lot better off.

Charles is the rotten apple in all of this. He lacked the courage to stand up for the woman that he supposedly loved with his family and instead bowed to their wishes.

He chose, out of all of the women available to him, a girl who was very young and very pretty and perhaps, in the beginning saw him the way that he wished he actually was, strong, dashing, handsome, powerful.

I am sure that there were plenty of acceptable women who would have jumped at the chance of being "Princess of Wales" who wouldn't have cared that he was continuing his affair with Camilla and would happily give up her children to "the firm", and gone about her own business. He didn't choose one of them. Instead he chose a wife to suite his family and his vanity, and he paid for it. It is unfortunate that so many people had to pay along with him.

Edit:

A lot of people have always and will always hate Diana. A lot of people hate Camilla. But sorry folks although it looks like a soap opera it isn't. EVERYBODY in this equation is wrong. According to pretty much everyone the "palace" Charles included ENCOURAGED Diana to see other men because Charles no longer had any interest in her and they thought it would make her more stable...wrong.

Camilla "dated" Prince Charles through whatever relationships he had, through her own marriage, and right into Charles'. That don't win her no awards people.

And the "Prince" was as wrong as two left shoes from start to finish.

You can fly a flag for whomever you wish, but no one here deserves one. Only glimmery-eyed, screeching, Britney Spears loving teen could possibly ever think they would.

I'm actually happy for both of them to be finally together. It's like a fairy tale ending. They met way before Princess Diana was even in the picture, and unfortunately Diana was a victim of Prince Charles thoughtless actions. I personally believe people disliked Camilla because she agreed to continue their secret affairs behind Diana's back. But there is no right or wrong when you love someone, love is inevitable. Prince Charles do in fact love Camilla, and its that unbreakable emotion that tied them together. Looks and age difference meant nothing to Prince Charles when it came to being with Camilla, and he proved to the world that "Love" means so much more than just a simple word.

OK we all acknowledge that Charles loves Camilla and wouldn't let go. However he is a senior member of our Royal family and as such he has obligations. He married Diana for better or for worse. He still persued Camilla but she didn't have to make herself so very available to him. Remember she comitted adultery as well when she could have don't the decent thing and got on with her own life.

Camilla broke her own family up for the sake of Charles. And then she still kept up the affair even tho Charles got married.

I don't see anything admirable in that.

No, the fault belongs to Charles for failing to stand up to his family and marry the woman he really loved. Instead, he was persuaded to marry someone nearly 13 years his junior that he had almost nothing in common with. That marriage was doomed from the start and I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.

i don't hate her, but if your partner went with some one else, would you hate them?!

It would be pretty hard for Camilla to miss that Charles was married to Diana. Would you actually break some ones marriage purposefully?!

She broke their marriage and she obviously knew she was.

But hey, it's her life! i dont hate her!!

people like to hate her because they don't really have a clue. charles had been in love with camilla long before he met diana. the royals wanted charles to marry diana, so in effect it was an arranged marriage. if charles had stood up to the queen and prince phillip things would have been different. people were so enamoured of diana that they like to take their anger out on who they percieve as being responsibale for taking her out of the public eye. it's true that charles had an affair with camilla whist married to diana, and for that they both should be condemmed, but charles was never truly in love with diana.
basically people hate camilla because she isn't as pretty as diana. these are the same people who say that charles shouldn't be king, it should be william. it's never going to happen that way. when the queen dies, charles will be king, there won't be a refferendum on it. william will become king when charles dies. and as for camilla, she will be queen, no matter what title they give her to appease the masses.
