Are girls prettier at 19 than at age 26? Because I hear people say "She was prettier when she was younger" The woman is 26. Somebody said the same thing about a 24 year old ("she was prettier when she was younger!") At what age do girls begin to lose their looks then?

Women don't necessarily "lose their looks" at a specific age. Some people tend to let themselves go as they get a little older, but they by no means lose their looks at some predetermined point in their lives, especially not in their mid-20s. Most women look their best in their 20s actually because they're more comfortable with their bodies then they were as teenagers and their style has evolved and matured a bit.

Some are, some are better at 26 than 19, some are worse, some are the same.
I know women who look better at 30 than they did at 19.

if you hear such comment, maybe it's because it's true. a girl could be prettier when she was younger because she is less stressed out. maybe, she's not happy with her present life that it shows in her face. but for some girls, they look prettier when they are older. maybe because they have gained much confidence and wisdom for their age. they have learned to love themselves and avoid stressing themselves too much.
so actually, it is a person to person situation. i suggest, look beyond a person, because if that person who looks prettier when she was younger is a person who is stressed out from life, i don't think you would even bother judging her appearance but instead, you'll have compassion for her.

In all honesty, it depends on the girl and the woman. I've seen it both ways, teens that look much better in their twenties, and twenty-somethings that looked better as teens. There is no preset rule-of-thumb here as it will be to the individual as to how they will look. Some take better care of themselves than others.

it's not like girls start "losing their looks".
those girls usually let themselves go...
a lot of girls only try looking good in highschool and college etc. so they "fit in" but once they are just in the office place, etc..and are growing out of the "i can follow the latest ugly trends" thing, they just don't care anymore.
me on the other hand, i love the fashion and will always make sure to stay beautiful...i've seen ladies in their 50's who are gorgeous.
a girl who truely aspires in fashion will not let herself go like that.

depend on the people, but if girls can take care of their self, keep their face and hair fresh, and know how to dress to make them looks good, i think anyone can keep their beauty even when they're old.

uh, strange because some girls become hotter when they get into their 20's but maybe its the opposite for others
