The bag is put in the tank to equalize the temperature.
The fish get oxygen from the water in the tank. they are fed in the tank. Their source of heat is the temp of the water.

Yahoo answers is completely free.

Your other questions are complete rubbish and probably wont get answers because it seems you just uploaded a homework sheet or a section of an exam paper.

But this question seems more like an actualy question I will try to answer it but I don't know for sure the real answer.

a. I think he did this so that the fish can gradually get used to the water temperature(since the temp of the bag gradually becomes similar to the tank) rather than throwing the fish into shock.

b. What do you mean by sources?

I will answer this on par with your other questions.

a. You want the thermal energy in both the bag and the tank to equilibrate before adding the fish to the tank. Y'know, when you get right down to it, thermal energy is just another effect of kinetic energy, albeit on an atomic level...

b. A shop. You already stated that the source of the fish was a shop. Another source could be... another shop?

No. 'Tis free. But if you continue to upload homework questions, you will get more and more outraged/obnoxious answers. This site it here to answer questions- but not to complete homework questions. I've tried to explain answers for you in these three posts, but you need to know that you should UNDERSTAND the reasoning and processes for your homework to do any good. And, yes, you do need to know it. It comes in very handy.

PS: You might want to read the Community Guidelines and Policy. There are types of questions for which you can be reported.
