I know a method if the number of rows and columns are odd. It requires to draw the figure. So I shall send you in email as an attchment within half an hour. The solution that I will send will be for 5X5 square. The method is same for 3X3 or 7x7 squares and so on.

I sent to the solution, but could not paste figures. For that I need your email address. If you send the same, I can send you the figures too as an attachment.

The text solution that I sendt is as under.

METHOD OF PREPARING ANTIMAGIC SQUARE

Here, I have prepared 5x5 antimagic square. First prepare 5x5 grid. Then add 3 squares on each side centrally and one square over them as shown in the figure. Next write 1 to 25 as shown in the first figure. Now, you find numbers in squares outside 5x5 grid. They are to be placed in 5x5 grid. It is to be done as per some rule explained.

Numbers 2, 1 and 6 on extreme left are to be filled in 5x5 grid in the same row in the farthest blank square in the 5x5 grid as shown in next figure. Same way for numbers 20, 25 and 24. Numbaers 4, 5 and 10 are to be placed in the farthest blank square in the 5x5 grid in the same column and same way for 16, 21 and 22. This gives you 5x5 grid as shown in the next figure.

The method is same for 3x3 or 7x7 or any odd number x same odd number square.
