I try to keep a happy medium between the two!! You can't only think of others, you have to take time for yourself too!!

There is a medium - do what makes you happy AFTER you help your family and friends.
Frankly, in my case, helping my family and friends is my favorite thing on the planet to do, so when I'm doing that, I am already doing what makes me happy.
How's that for a blending?
