that's the irony of attaining peace.
in our country Philppines, our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal presented 2 ways to attain liberty and peace:
through peaceful means such as writing- we call a silent revolt
or through an armed revolution.
in my opinion, both means are effective and powerful and will require sacrifices- lives of innocent people, but that is the price we pay for peace.

On a personal level, peace comes to me by doing what I can about those things I have control over and letting go of the worries, etc that aren't in my power to control. The end results will happen without my approval, intervention or control and worrying about it only affects me, not the outcome.
I have found a place of peace inside that allows me to know that there are only certain parts of life that we have power over. If I've done my best to make those aspects as positive as possible, then I need not worry over the rest.
