I can't see why, and when I found out that they are apparently well-hated, I was shocked. I can't stand the Bulldogs personally, just like many others. Ironically, they are one of the most liked teams.

I would say they used to be a couple of years back.
Matt Orford has given manly a wider fanbase,,and the average nrl supporter acknowledges manly as a form team,which creates a positive vibe for manly,and it seems that this positivity has a pretty good impact on those who hate manly,it would be rude and un sportsmen like to not give manly the respect they deserve.,and it seems that people tend to agree that the most hated club in the nrl is fast becoming the bulldogs.
If you would prefer to be the most hated team,just go back to your style of football which earned you the title for so many years.True fans will stick around,,all the new fans attracted by a winning team will go back to hating you.A true supporter stands by his team,,always...A person who backs a winning team and claims they are a supporter are sometimes new fans of this generation,backing the in form team of the moment,and becoming a loyal life long supporter.Then there are those who will claim the in form team only to feed their own ego,these types of fans are usually only around for a few months,then magically become the supporter of the in form team the following season.

No I think they are on a par with the Bulldogs
This is mainly because of a relatively small % of the Bulldogs fans who quite frankly are pathetic trouble making scum.
I think the "silvertail" tag of the 80's is wearing off the Manly club.

No. But i hate them more now that they beat the Rabbits. They could of still lost on purpose to the Rabbits and that means both the Rabbits and Manly wouldve gone through.

To be honest it comes down to who you support eg: parra supports hate the bulldogs with a passion and vise versa bulldogs hate parra - so i can't say they are the most hated, or that they are deservent of the title most hated

Yes if you use a survey but personally i believe the bulldogs are the worst their supporters are feral and they just have the wrong attitude
