by limiting the use of cfcs, plastic and recycling the stuff we use on daily basis. increase vegetation. grow more and more plants. govt. should make it necessary for every person to seed or grow atleast two plants in their life.

Well, I believe there was a proposal to put up hundreds of little mirrors into space to reflect sunlight back... yes, it is a government idea.
After that it gets complicated.
What YOU do will only help slow (or speed) climate change... probably not "prevent" it. That requires some global policy change (regardless of whether or not that change was human-induced in the first place).

Stop driving all them MASSIVE BULLY TRUCKS, especially the ones that start with an "F." Soccer Mommies, enough with the biiiiiiiiiig trucks, get something smaller and that is more earth friendly.
