i brought a computer through a scheme at work but i left the company originally 2 years ago thus breaking the contract, the outstanding money should of been taken out of my final pay packet or paid by myself in 1 week, can they still claim the money though collection agencies? to add a twist i rejoined the company but left again 6 months ago.
is there a time limit that they can still claim this money owed?

Legally your company CAN NOT interfere with your pay cheque to reclaim monies owed, you have to pay them yourself. That is the law.

The only money an employer is allowed to deduct from your pay packet is money that has been sought through legal means via an attachment to earnings order and taxes.

Even if you move and they take out an order, you will be found and you will incur charges so it is better you cough up now than later.

I wouldn't worry about it ...

Just forget it == they seem to have done so .. otherwise they would have asked you when you rejoined 6 months ago .

I would guess they just wrote it off when you left the first time ..

I think it used to be up to 5 years to pursue a debt.

Just move - they won't waste any time or money trying to track you down.

It depends on the state in which you live. We'll need more details.
