most women will not aproach a man that they find attractive.
why is it the mans job to go to the women? women, you will not scare us if you aproach us the right way. sound familiar?. men and women are alike, but with a different style.. we don't know what we want until we see it. rejection is what we all fear. no disrespct, but don't ask men to do what you would not without taking a leap yourself.

No, women are not more insecure. In general, men just hide their insecurities better. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule.

Definitely.

More women than men are on psychiatric medications, more women are depressed or suffer from anxiety disorder & panic attacks, more women attempt suicide, and more women scrutinize themselves physically (weight, clothes, figure, hair, face, skin, etc.). Without a doubt, women are far more insecure than men.

Everything I just listed is backed up with studies/statistics.

And you're right -- a lot of women laugh and joke about how men "can't handle rejection", yet these same women would never go up to a man and ask him out. MOST women are DEATHLY AFRAID of going up to a man, initiating a convo, and then asking him out, all while facing the possibility of rejection.

I am not insecure, I am actually quite proud of who I am. I love what I have made of my life through persistence and hard work. I love my flat and my boyfriend; I love my job. I think I have finally found where I am meant to be in life at this exact point. I couldn't feel better about myself; whether it be my body, my intelligence, my field of work or my family. I am quite fulfilled and in control.

Apart from everything else a woman is expected to do to make a man comforable, we must now hand over the rejection of women he doesn't like, to him?

I don't think so. It's just that men are conditioned to hide them better and not be so quick to ask for help when they need it. Remember, a lot of men project overconfidence and arrogance to hide their inner insecurities.
