what's the difference between the American printing and the British printing, other than spelling of some words?
there isn't a difference when listening to the different audiobooks, right?

Depends on the country as to who does the reading for the audiobook. I believe in Britian it's read by Stephen Fry. Here in the US the Harry Potter audiobooks are read by Jim Dale. And you can get the complete unabridged audiobook on CD.

Jim Dale reads the American printing of all the Harry Potter books, while Stephen Fry reads the British printing. Both men are British. I think both versions are excellent. =)
