You might start by discarding the fool notion that there is a gay mind and a man mind. Being gay doesn't make you any less a man unless you want to be a woman. If you feel so inadequate as a male, maybe you need to speak to a shrink.

Drugs will not change your mind or how you feel.
A drug to change who you are is nothing more than a lie, a veil placed over oneself because they are not man enough to face themselves honestly.
There is no such thing as a "pure" man, simply put you appear to an outsider to be disgusted with the thoughts running through your mind due to societies upbringing.
You also sound like you are not referring to "pure" so much as "masculine", It may interest you to know that many cross dressers, work in the most dangerous and masculine fields, without ever letting there guard down, impart because to be "weak" on the job will often times put lives in jeopardy, and there is nothing pure about what these people due in there private time.
So be happy and comfortable in your skin, be what you want to be.

If you're gay and you want to be manly... then act manly. I'm gay and I don't feel a need to do feminine things. I like guy things and prefer to hang out with guy friends than girls because I feel I have more in common with most despite a probable difference in orientation. I assume it is like this for most gay people.
It's just that gay people figure that since they are open about it, then they shouldn't conform to what society expects for a man to act like. So if you want to be a "man" then act like it!

If you are gay, but do not want to have sex with men, just don't have sex with men. You can't change who you are attracted to. If you find it distasteful, just don't do it. Maybe some day you will be more comfortable with being gay, or you will meet the right man and you will change your mind. But there is nothing wrong with you now.
And there is no such thing as a 'pure man'. Being gay is just as much being a man as a straight man is being a man.

50% of people that have come to ex-gay ministries report being sexually molested, abused, or raped as children or teens.
Sometimes homosexual desires come from a horrific trauma in a child or teens life - where they have been sevearely sexually mistreated.
For these cases, it is NOT best to simply say "go get drunk and be gay" as some have offered here - but offer healing for those deep emotional root issues.
Contact any exgay ministry in your area. Exodus gives free counseling, resources, support groups, and retreats for guys with homosexual issues.
Go to: http://exodus.to
- click on "find help"

If you are truly gay, there isn't much you can do about it. If you still can relate and have relationships with the opposite sex,you can try to suppress your feelings. Look at Senator Craig, he has managed to keep his gayness covered for many years. But whatever you decide, you will still be able to be a man. I know many openly gay men and they are very special people.

Watch this movie - along came polly. In that theres this scuba diver who tells a story about the hippo to ruben (the hero).
The hippo doesnt like its own self and tries to change. He paints stripes on himself to be like the zebra, paints spots to be like the leopard and so on. But soon realises that he was born a hippo and always will be. So he accepts it, and lives happily. Happy as a Heepo!!
Once you accept that you are a hippo (figuratively speaking), you can be happy. And remember the same God who made us, made you as well. So dont fret my friend.
PEACE!

I dont think you're really gay, if you were, you'd be alot more open and proud of it,
Personally, i think its just you being undecided.
How can you be a man? Try avoiding gay tendencies, get your mind off gay things and i guess it should work.
