The GOP smeared war heroes like John Kerry, McCain, even triple amputee Max Cleland (morphing him into Osama and Saddam in their ads). Then they smeared Gen. Gasey for advocating "retreat", and Bush fired Gen. Abizaid for disagreeing with him. Then the GOP majority leader said that the 4,000 troops killed in Iraq, and the cost of $11 billion a month ($500,000 a second) is a SMALL price to pay for this indefinite war.

The GOP essentially says it's okay to smear war heroes, generals, and the regular troops--as long as they are not Republican.

PS--the GOP voted against troop reduction, the amendment req. troop get AS much time home as in Combat (IAW DoD policy--which is being violated), they voted AGAINST body armor, and FOR benefit cuts. Yet they are for attacking a stupid ad. SAD bunch of idiots.

Our troops will be there moderating a civil war for an inept Iraqi government for many, many years. SAD SAD SAD!!!

Exactly Chi. These idiots condemn Moveon yet they don't care about Bush ripping McCain to shreds nor did they care about the assault on John Kerry. There a bunch of hypocrites. Gee what a surprise that is.

All about politics. Repubs are milking the moveon ad for all its worth and it's worth practically nothing. There are much bigger things going on in the world then some stupid ad.

Not me, I say "sock it to em."
Unfortunately, President Bush has to buy a vowel. This is a sad time for the USA.
