Tell me your thought, experiences, and anything else that comes to mind when Quixtar comes to mind. Thanks.

Yes, it is a legitimate business as in they are permitted to operate in the USA. Tho, it is the "new" Amway -- you purchase Amway though Quixtar. My personal experience of Quixtar is it is an annoying program...my friends who became involved in it had numerous meetings to go to where they "learned" business strategies which really do not apply outside of that world. Furthermore, my friends were told to network within their circle of friends and their friends's friends... hence it sometimes felt that the person could not just be a friend but was constantly trying to "Sell" you. My friends eventually got out of the programme since it wasn't making her rich -- they (your mentors) lead you to believe that you will make enough $$$ that you can do it full-time ... after 5yrs they realized that they couldn't and they had purchased tons and tons of books/tapes and stuff that was suppose to assist them in "Their business". Good Luck if you chose to pursue this... I personally would look for another business like ebay selling

Is it legal? Yes.

Will you make money? No, probably not.

The problem with Quixtar is the seminars and training materials that you will be "encouraged" to attend and buy. Officially, they are optional but you will be expected to purchase them. The dirty little secret with Quixtar is that people at the top of the food chain (ie pyramid) make a vast majority of their money from the seminars and training materials. The guys at the top get rich off of the seminars and you go broke attending them. Someone I know has spent over $50,000 on these training functions over 10 years and, because of this, they have never turned a profit.

Yes, it is legal. It is Amway on the internet. It gets a bad rap, but that is what it is. From what I have been reading, they are going back to using the Amway name, but I only read it, so I am not sure. Are you looking to start a business?
