I have peeled them before but the skin is good for you. Only the bad spots. I do was them very well though they nat have pestisides or all the people that have handled them. You have no idean where their hand have been, did they just sneeze, did they cough over them, did they just go to the bathroom? I could go on and on but that is why all fruit needs to be washed. I do like to make lots of little wedges out of a cored apple.

Absolutely not! The peels have all the vitamins Plus they are the tangiest tastiest part! I do wash them though. I've been to the orchards here in Washington... it's not that they're dirty, the apples have just been a little handled for my taste. Nothing a good shining won't cure!

Yes I do. Apple peels are too hard to chew for the last couple of years. They must be doing something to the apple trees that is different from years ago.

No honey. Washing or peeling before eating may reduce pesticide intake but peeling will also reduce the intake of the beneficial nutrients.

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)

Yeah, it's a weird habit that I have. That's why I like McDonald's apples. They're pre-peeled apple slices with caramel dip on the side.

My mommy or daddy does it. :)
I usually don't, but if my parents actually want to do it for me, i eat them like that. Haha, I sound like such a child. But if I'm cutting the apple myself, I don't peel off the skin because I'm too lazy and I'm not skilled with knives.

Hey Mystery 2, I'm back. To answer your question though, I only peel the bruised parts.

How do you peel a candy apple?

I generally do not eat apples raw... so peeling them is a matter of what I am preparing to MAKE with them.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
