Will you change him? Or will you look for other friends who suits you better?

Depends what he's done. First, you can't change him.

- Is he doing something dangerous to his health or yours? Drugs, driving dangerously, etc.? Look for other friends.
- If he has done something hurtful to you (bad-mouthed you to friends, or not paying you back, for example) , you can say so and ask him to be more considerate next time.
- If he has done something stupid or annoying, you have to expect that he's only human and makes mistakes.

If there are things you like about this friend (he makes you laugh, he knows how to have a good time), you may have to overlook some things, or you may have to back away and not be as close a friend anymore. (Be casual friends, in other words.)

That's a hard one to answer, he isn't behaving like you thought he would. What is he doing that is wrong in your opinion? If you are really uncomfortable with him, either tell him whats wrong , or if you don't think that ll be productive look for a more suitable friend. That's about all I can say not knowing the behavior you don't like.
