How about if you say you want to meet a "sugar daddy" type, for a long term, mutually benefitial relationship. Is that illegal?

No, of course not. You're not selling yourself, you're just saying you're not a cheap date, but you want a commitment.

Not really illegal. But you have to be careful. There is a very fine line between being a waste of space and being a prostitute.

How about something like
"Good looking 20 something looking for a man to take care of me"

Or even better, flip over to the next page in the paper and look at the job ads, get a job and stop being worthless.

Not in America, but I would not be so blunt about it. You could say you want to meet a mature and financial secure gentleman... I think stating you want someone's money is not a good way to get it, could get you a lot of negativity or no responses.

Not at all. But...if you really want to meet one...hang out at a strip club. Go on a weeknight, or during the day. Hang out at the bar. Tip the bartender well, and when you meet your 'mark', make sure he buys drinks and dances for you. That way, the dancers will like you for helping them, and they won't want to kick you out.

No. See it regularly in the alternative weekly papers in California's major cities, like LA Weakly. Morally saddening, but slightly amusing when I'm in the right mood.

I guess it is okay, a lot better than saying "want to meet some one with money for sex"

Probably depends on where you are.

BTW...Do you like ferrets? I've got some spare 'squeaky toys'

It's not illegal, which is why hookers use those phrases in their ads.
