Similarly India has won 3 out of 5 matches she has played in the 20-20 world cup but still in the team records in the stats tab of official site of 20-20it has been shown that india has only won 2.

you are confused ..let me tell you its because the win against the pakistan was a bowl out win and its tallywill be different..

India have played 4 matches in the ongoing T20 World Cup(Against New Zeland, Pakistan, England ansd South Africa. Match against Scotland was abandoned due to rain and as such it will not be considered as the match played) Out of these 4 matches, India lost against new Zeland and won against Pakistan, England and South Africa. Hence in this tournament India have won 3 matches out of 4 matches p,layed. The only other T20 match played by India was against South Africa in South Africa and won that the match.

However, in the official site of T20 world cup the match plahyed in South Africa will not be inclkuded and as such in the statistics of T20 World Cup india won 3 matches out of 4 played.

However, in the sduper 8 stage India played only 3 matches (against New Zeland, England and South Africa) and won 2.
The table shown in the official website are the details of the matches played in the Super 8 stage and the matches played in Group stages are not carried forward.
