I think the top five reasons would be money problems, problems with each other's families, issues about kids(how to raise them, one wants them one doesn't ect. drug/alcohol abuse and physical abuse and last but not least infidelity. I left my husband of 20yrs about 2yrs ago. We had all but the last one in those many years. I tried my best to be there for him but the drugs won over me. Now that I have left I am a much happier person. It is hard, the hardest thing I have ever done is being alone and trying to be everything to my kids and still have a little left over for myself, but in the end i know what I did was right.

1) MONEY - that's always #1. Probably responsible for 80% of divorces.
2) Infidelity
3) A bad fit to start - people with different values who wanted to get married and knew in advance that they were marrying the wrong person.
4) Immaturity/irresponsibility - people who imagine that something else will be better.
5) Lack of passion - people who are incompatible in their desires.

3. He tells you that other women are prettier than you.
4. He drinks all the time.
5. His family always lived with you.
Was married to him for 12 years then got a divorce. I found out that I am not the stupid one.

I agree with Sony...
money is always a issue even if u are a millionaire..
sex is always a issue.. not enough .. or too much or want it from someone else
abuse.. where there is money and sex problems they begin to abuse u..
addictions.. one or both always seem to be addicted to something or it could be each other
incompatibility.. if u do not agree on the money or sex issues then u become incompatible..
