For me the most important thing in life is not only to acquire subtle thoughts but so to love wisdom as to live, according to its dictates, alife of simplicity, independence, magnanimity and trust. We may be sure that if we can but find wisdom, all things else will be added unto us. " Seek ye first the good things of the mind", as Bacon admonishes us " and the rest will either be supplied or its loss will not be felt". Truth will not make us rich, but it will make us free.

Thanks to your question. Have a wonderful day!

Health, but this question is relevant as to ones age. If you are young, energetic, on the go and can't think what is on the agenda next week other than clubbing, this question would probably be different. If one doesn't have good health, one can't enjoy all the wonderful things that life has to offer such as spouses, children, friends, living and breathing life.

I consider the most important thing in life to be your actions. How each person holds themself and treat others can either be an inspiration or a complete disgrace in the eyes of others. By being the best you can be can in effect be a positive chain reaction. Or it could go in the completely opposite direction.

Having life. Living is the most important thing, without life, absolutely nothing matters. Water, food, air, friends, all the earthly needs and wants are completely worthless if there is no spark of life to consume or enjoy them.

Survival - with that, there's always a chance to deal with the rest. But it seems most people put everything ahead of it - as you can see from the Middle East to the towers of Manhattan, and to climate change which is ensuring the extinction of animals and plants daily across Earth, and will not only diminish the prospects of human life globally, but also threaten us with extinction, too.

Hi ANGEL.

The most important thing in life is God.

First of all, without God, there would be no life. Second of all, He loves us and wants us to eventually return to Him. This is why He sent His only Son down to earth to die — to save our sorry selves. It was His greatest gift to us.

God has always been with me; it is I who took a long time to realize that He was ALWAYS there for me. He has never turned away from me; but I have, on occasion, turned away from Him. I never do anymore!!

What is so important is to learn what He wants us to do for Him while we are in this life. He wants us to help each other, to make this world a better place, each in our own way.

That doesn't mean that each one of us has to (or can) do things like cure cancer or anything that spectacular. Even if we stay behind the scenes, living a quiet life, we can make a difference.

I think it is important to do something each day in His honor. If that something is as simple as smiling at an elderly person or a small child, making them smile & feel good, then we have been successful.

Regardless of what kind of career we have, we can usually find some way to give back to God's world. If that means participating in your child's sports or school activities, so be it. If it means doing volunteer work once a week, that's good, too. There are so many ways that we can show our love to God.

God works through people, so we can do His work, each & every one of us. Every act of kindness leaves its mark on the world. When we act out of love, we teach love. Others learn more by our actions than by our words

When I was working, I used to carry quarters in my pocket. I would give a quarter to each homeless person I passed on the way to the bus. That does not solve the problem of so many humans living in the streets; but I am only one person. I knew several people who did the same thing I did. We can at least help them a little at a time.

There are also many people who work directly for the outreach program, all as volunteers. They drive in vans, bringing food to homeless people in parks, asking them if they want to be taken to a shelter, getting them psychiatric care and medical attention, for free, respecting their wishes as human beings.

There are other people who take care of God's little creatures — dogs & cats, helpless animals who always need people to care for them. Even if a person is too shy to work directly with other people, they can help God's little creatures. Being a volunteer at an animal shelter is a wonderful thing to do.

The bottom line is that there are so many things that can be done to help others. Every thing that we do honors God & teaches others to love as well.

We are like a beacon that shines light so that others may see. As it says in Luke 8:16, "No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light,"

We are the reflection of God's love.

Peace.

Well honey, this is the facts of life though. Health is Wealth, and without it, not only can we not be able to work to support ourselves, we can't even help the ones around us though.

Cheers and have a nice week ahead :)
