I am an optimistic pessimist [opie-pessie].
I am confident that there will always be something that goes wrong. I am also confident nothing ever goes my way, that my future has the potential to be as bleak as my past.

Keep on this way and you'll be a "brevie.''That's a word for people who abbreviate things for not much reason. Just joking. I'v e never considered it very meaningful to say you are in an either/or position like optimist vs pessimist. I prefer how Bhudda looked at it "All is as it should be."
