Personally I think women that marry or get into relationships for money are basically whores, they are selling themselves out, but it is not illegal. I just don't have much respect for women / girls like that. My older brother who is rich, always seems to wind up with those type of girls and they take him for a lot financially and emotionally and then the relationship is over in a year or two. They just make me sick same as all the women I see here in Scottsdale dating or married to much older wealthier men, I have no respect for them but they are not "technically" whores or hookers.

From a legal standpoint, I don't think a woman can be considered a hooker if she is married, because, one could argue that marriage to a certain extent is a legally binding contract between two consenting adults.
However,I would surmise that as long as a woman is engaging or performing sexual favors strictly for money she can be considered a hooker, regardless of where the act takes place.
If your asking your question from a moral perspective then that could be more difficult to determine. I could go into more detail, but I don't want be violated.

A woman who refuses to have sex with her husband without getting something is simply a *****, not a hooker.
A woman who sells sexual favors of all types to anywone for money or drugs is a hooker in the purest sense of the word.
Prostitution is indeed the oldest of occupations, and a worthy and noble one. If a woman (or in some cases a man) has something people are willing to pay for, why not. I don't think prostitution should be illegal at all. It's just one group of people legislating their morals on others.

May not be legally but for all practical purposes, she is a hooker or even worst. In such case, the man should check on the market going rate of a equivalent hooker, and go for her than his wife and save some money while having a change as well.

According to the state of Missouri:
(2) "Prostitution", a person commits prostitution if he engages or offers or agrees to engage in sexual conduct with another person in return for something of value to be received by the person or by a third person
In all those above examples, you are worse then a hooker. At least a hooker knows what she does and doesn't try to hide it.

A hooker is someone who engages in anonymous sex for a living.
If you are on a date with someone you just met, and they propose having sex with you for money, the person may be a hooker.

If they were married or in a long time relationship, I wouldn't consider her a hooker. I would consider her to be materialistic and manipulative. I would classify a hooker as being someone who sleeps with men to pay bills and get by.

an interesting question. If a married woman refuses to have sex with her husband unless he buys her something, that's just how life is. but Suppose they're just engaged, just dating, or they just met? different story, and a case could certainly be made for the exchange of money (or "gifts") for sex as prostitution. but there is a very fine line between "acceptable" behavior and "unacceptable" behavior. this is whqat keeps lawyers in business.
