David Bowie ... and $10,000 probably would not pay for 1 lawyer. It's kind of like when Kobe Bryant challenged all NBA stars to donate to Katrina ... how much did he offer!!?? Come on Kobe, you're filthy, stinking rich. You could've done WAY better!!

David Bowie. He is married to Iman, a black former noveau supermodel of the 80s. Bowie gave $10k in legal defense aid to the Jena 6 attorneys.

Oh.....that media covered mass black march failed: one Jena 6 person is still locked up on possible juvenile probation charges he caused BEFORE the beating incident. And a superior court judge refused to excuse the orginal Jena 6 trial judge.

Not a very good day for the Jena 6--who still face serious prison time. And the lesson here is: if you're going to support one's legal defense--give such monetary and/or emotional support for the truly innocent.
