I've been researching about Duke Football and it seems that they have went 9 - 74 in the last 6 seasons. 3 of those seasons were shut-outs, 0-12.
I want to get your oppinon on Duke Football. Will they ever be good? What do you think about their football program? haha

Their football program sucks but the basketball program is amazing. They are not a football school they are a basketball school.

Duke is a small private school that more than likely got accepted into the ACC due to other sports rather than football.....mostly, basketball, lacrosse, track, etc.....I'd be shocked if Duke put any real amount of money into their football program at the expense of their basketball program

I take it that you are not a Northwestern fan and you have never heard of a little school called Temple. Temple's horrible record would make Duke look like a BCS team

well this year they can accomplish some things they COULD beat Navy tomorrow night and they also get to play a struggling Notre Dame later this year that could be three wins at least if i am not mistaken would be the most wins the blue devils have had since Spurrier coached them and won the ACC championship in 1989 they may have had a better year or two in there but still beating ND would be huge

Duke has and always will be a basketball school.
Why they bother to have a team is beyond me other than the fact that they have a high profile name in other sports.

Well, Ted Roof isn't doing any worse than any coach that has come after Spurrier...Maybe Barry Wilson, who replaced Spurrier, won at a slightly higher rate, but he was let go for some reason...
