Then I see a hero who didnt ride off into the sunset like he was supposed to. Heroes are generally done in by the ungrateful people he saved because to look at him every day reminds them of how weak and spineless they were (and still are)

And villians do win for a while. Hitler won 11 million times. But none of this is a thing to rejoice at.

The only heros I've ever had have been family members and a few special friends that have come to my rescue and they have never fallen, at least not in my eyes!! I don't have faith in outsiders as heros because they too are just human!!

It really depends on who the alleged "hero" is. Sports "figures" like OJ Simpson, Mike Tyson, Tonya Harding, Jose Canseco, Kobe Bryant, among others are NOT heroes to me, but they are to others. I feel for the kids who looked up to these people and have been disappointed by their actions. The same would apply to entertainers who have "fallen": Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richey, Vanessa Hudgens, Hugh Grant, Mel Gibson, Etc., Etc. They are definitely NOT good role models for young people, nor are they anyone I would consider a "hero". The true heroes are firefighters, police officers (although there are those who do make others look bad), individuals within our own communities who volunteer, parents, teachers, etc. They, among others, should be looked up to and admired. Yes, sometimes one of them may take a fall. Those "falls" are the most disappointing AND the most difficult to handle. Short of murder, child molestation, rape, spousal abuse, etc., these people can and should be forgiven...perhaps even given another chance.

Someone made fun of KISS. How babyish, lol. Calling Gene a grandpa with a broken hip. Geez!

Answer: Depends on who it is, I suppose. I have an issue with the wrestling 'heroes' who are doing steroids and killing themselves and others, knowing that a half million kids a week watch them! Our priorities are all wrong today, I think.

I really don't have feelings when the hero takes a fall, but I laugh real hard when he bounces off something!

I feel good when a hero falls. They always win. I think the villains should win more often because they are usually cooler, and have better stories.

are you referring to the Bangles song, "Hero Takes a Fall"? and what's up w/ Paul Stanley? try Ace Frehley instead!

I feel like listening to Loser by Beck and looking at the panels where Captain America gets shot.

I have an overactive imagination.

It depends. If they are a true hero, it is a grand disappointment; if it is a fake hero, they derserve it!
