Well, what he did certainly raises fair questions to his moral and ethical values, but consider this...
Ted Kennedy is still a Senator even after driving his car off a bridge into the water; saving himself while leaving his female passenger in the vehicle to suffer and drown; then fled on foot and hid from the police; then lied to the police.
Barney Frank is still a Senator even after investigations yielded evidenct that he had knowledge of, and possibly was involved in male prostitution rings which were run by his boyfriend out of his home, which was being paid for by tax payers. Also, it was found that on several occasions, government vehicles were authorized by the senator for use in these illegal activities.

I live in Idaho too! I don't think he should be senator, not because of the recent events we all found out about, but the way he's handled the situation has been a little sketchy. I don't give a crap about his sexual orientation, but the fact that he's not up front and honest with his constituents 100% is NOT what I want from a senator!

I dunno..If he hit on some chick in a bar would we even be having this discussion? Craig was and is a miserable character...with his holier than thou 'family values' BS...... Of course he should resign and let the the governor of Idaho appoint an 'Eisenhower' Republican or even a Democrat to represent that state. It's time to dump these reactionaries and start taking care of business..business that will favor staying out of peoples private lives and pay attention to the needs of the American wage-earner....something that Craig and a whole lot of 'Bush' Republicans, with their heads up the anatomy of corporate interests, the Oil Mafia and the Jesus freak right are incapable of understanding!

Well let's see he has served several terms as senator from that state. If he was doing a horrible job he wouldn't keep getting elected.
I don't think the incident in the bathroom would have been his first time if it was accepted.
Does that change anything he has done before?? Does that change the way he has voted on issues??? Not at all.
He is not a preacher who is suppose to lead by example. He is a politician who is suppose to be a voice for the people who elected him into office.
I don't think he would have continues getting elected if he wasn't a voice for those who elected him.

I don't think he should be senator, but then I never did want him in the Senate. Since I don't live in Idaho, no one ever asked me my opinion before he was arrested, and I don't think his arrest makes it any more of my business now....

I don't know much about besides he recent troubles. But I do know most people would not have plead guilty to something they didn't do. I also know that most people would not resign from their job especially a high paying job if they did nothing wrong. I think it would have better if he came out with the truth. I think he is hiding something.

The Democrats could learn a thing or two from him.
He's back in the Senate helping the GOP obstruct and lie like nothing ever happened. The Democrats, meanwhile, are too busy falling down in fear every time Trent Lott belches to get anything done.
Pathetic.
