Cons will find a way to defend it, they'll probably babble something like...oh, "we can't keep track of everything" thereby acknowledging their own incompetence.

After each factor that Bush has already carried out, why ought to each physique be a great deal shocked that he ought to objective this. you will possibly be able to declare that Congress initiated this, yet face it, Congress can do now not something without Presidential approval. President Bush is an egomaniac. My question is, the placement is the money going to return from. we've a stalled financial gadget, and a extensive national deficit. i think of we are in a position to be digging deeper into our wallet at tax time. somebody is going to ought to pay for all that weaponry and that i assume it should not be the Saudis'.

BlackWater is a very dangerous organization and precedent in this country. It's a rogue militia that claims it doesn't have to follow military law or civil law in Iraq or in America. Many GOP politicians are getting into 'bed' with them including ARnold Schwarzennegger, the California governor. They are building 'camps' and bases all over America including at the California/Mexico border. They went to New Orleans after Katrina hit and bullied and threatened alot of citizens who were already suffering. They are extreme right wingers who are headed by an extreme right winger from Grand Rapids Michigan and who is associated with Amway. Trust me, this bunch must be put down and out of commission as soon as possible. We do not want any of our tax dollars going toward that corporation. They represent something far too dangerous for a democracy. They shouldn't even exist in a democracy. Write your congressmen and women to get rid of them and stop funding them. the consequences of their growing power is something you really don't want to experience. They are basically the equivelent to the brown shirts and black shirts during the rise of Hitler and the Nazi's. They ARE that dangerous.

EDIT: Blackwater has no ties to the DNC. WHY? Because Blackwater is a right wing Christian militia whose philosophical tendencies are much more Hitlarian and Nazi. The DNC isn't tied to right wing Christian fundies.

No, the Government has been giving money to blackwater for security services. The gunrunning is a private enterprise that will be investigated and procecuted if suffient evidence is brought to light. Oh and this sort of thing is not strictly approved by the President, it has to go thru a complicated oversite procedure by the State Dept and Congress. Wonder how much money from Blackwater made its way into the DNC?

I've been aware of the corruption connected to Halliburton, but only all of the latest publicity has made me aware of the Blackwater deal. Apparently, they are now under investigation for corruption, fraud and arms smuggling, in addition to the killing of civilian Iraqis. Now Iraq is telling them to get out of their country. Blackwater has a contract with the State Department to aid our military, but it seems they are getting caught aiding the enemy! This administration is so bad, and historians are keeping track!

The best they could come up with was a Pelosi bash....very impressive! It's funny people still stand by this administration. They would be the ones drinking the kool-aid in jonestown!

Yes, and Blackwater is a public company.

Blackwater was contracted as "security," where in fact they just worsened the US' image.

Blackwater mercenaries are not bound by the Uniformed Code of Military Justice because they are technically are not in the military and can't be court martialed.

They are not bound by our legal system obviously because they are in Iraq.

And they are not bound to Iraqi law.

So who are they accountable to? Is this Bush's personal army?

Could be.

And don't forget that the American contractors in Iraq are not bound by Iraqi laws, despite all our rhetoric about helping make Iraq autonomous.
