I have had a love affair with wood all my life...even as a small child, I would beg to go with my father to the saw mill where he bought his lumber...I even married a carpenter...fate, perhaps ?

We can have several inspirations. I am a writer and many things can inspire me to write, for example, my own experiences in life, my children's vision of the world, stories that old people tell me, music, movies... everything I see and hear inspires me to write. I find inspiration to cook when I am alone and listening to music, if I have people around, even with the intention of helping, I can't cook... And, last but not least, I find inspiration in my prayers to keep going, overcoming obstacles in life.

I like wood working too, especially when I had a wood shop when I had a house.
I think for me it's to do with God, spiritual things, answering people here and at the hospital, giving hope, comfort and healing prayers.

Metal --I love welding, machining, constructing and modifying. I just bought an old ATV for parts but it now has an industrial lawn mower motor in it.

when I go for a walk...it gives me a chance for my imagination to run wild.....I dream of stories that I'd love to write or music that I'd love to play/compose
