For how do artists make a living if you keep robbing them?

It is a hard enough business to get into and having all your hard work being pirated; it is not a good thing. How would one feel after working at any other job only to have the employer say they could not pay you because someone stole the work you did today. Then the comments that these artist have all sorts of money so it seems okay to take that song off a pirated download. There are some really good acts out there that work hard just to get noticed and then are not able to make it very well because someone started selling illegal copies of their songs or spread it over the net through file sharing.
Only a real choice few ever have the chance to make the big money or have the million dollar show tours, limos and such....some of the best artist can't make it in the business very long because so many want to get a 'free copy' of their work..then the artist has nothing to live on.
Support these up and coming artist by buying legal copies of their music.
Unlike a few have posted, not all artist are filthy rich. Many work hard and deserve a chance, but its difficult when others want to steal what you have by illegally download their music.
Support your artist by getting a legal copy of their work.

I see it like this. If it were so illegal then why is it there to download?
I have seen the limewire page and it will not let you download it if your going to be burning cd's.
Don't you think that all the movie stars and singers have enough money in the world? They could help out alot of people in need in this world but do they? No
