I would like to think I would leave a note or stay until the owner showed up. I guess it would depend if there was really any damage or if it was just a light tap on the bumper. I hope I never have to find out. I know my car has been hit in the parking lot and nobody left me a note. Not even a sarcastic one.

I wittiness a car hitting a parked car. Pretty hard. 2 young girls. They didn't even get out to check. But apparently someone closer to where the accident was got the tag number of car that sped away. When I came out from shopping cops were there with them.

Been there. No, I never would leave a note.

If I leave a note, then the cops would wanna get involved, then I'll probably be sued by the owner of the car, etc. I don't need that kind of BS hassle.

Honestly, I think my fist might be a little sore, but it would be better than that time I hit that tree . . .

No notes, I would wait for the person until they got back. (Probably because I would want to punch them as well, that being the only reason I would punch there car in the first place.)

Yes! When something like this comes up i.e. a cashier giving me too much change; a cashier missing an item in my order; hitting a parked car; etc., I can still hear my mother saying, "God will punish you someday for being dishonest!" Here I am at 52 years of age and I can STILL hear her saying that!! Goes to show how much influence parents can still have even when their children are "all grown up"!!!

Well it would be kind of weird to leave a note:

"Hey dude, sorry I ran into your car! Sucks for you!"

Lol. Well I guess if you left them your number it would not be weird, but what if some stalker dude took it and stuff? But I think I would wait for a little bit, then leave a note with my name and all of that stuff.

It would be best to wait for the owner so you could talk to them.

Luckily, when I guy ran into my car causing 1500 this summer he did this and I am very greatful of it.

How would you like to have 2000 of damage to your car?

If I did noticable damage, I would leave the proper info after I had taken pictures of said damage (so they couldn't say there was more) but if it was just a scrape-- no more than a grocery cart ding, no I wouldn't. I'd leave.

of course. In situations like this is good to think about karma....what goes around comes around and I would definitely appreciate it if someone left me a note if they hit my car.
