the thing about freebirds, is how its a real journey.

like slow at the beginning, then Von Zant builds it up to:

Oh won't u fly high, freeebiiiirddsss

then the solo is three guitars wailing their emotion into sound. its just amazing.

stairway has one only one guitar in the solo, freebirds just like goes all out.

I was a huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan from their first album. Saw them six or eight times before the plane crash, and I can tell you by the third concert, most of us were OVER that song. If it hadn't been for the drugs, we would have stormed the stage!

The music, cause the words are kinda insulting. (i've loved that song from the minute I heard it, but you must admit)
