"Creep" by Radiohead. I heard this song when I was about 14,and the part where the distorted guitar comes in at the chorus completely floored me, and is quite possibly solely responsible for my love of rock.

"Electric Funeral" - Black Sabbath. I grew up in a Country & Western home (especially Johnny Cash, and I still like him). I was about 12 when I first heard this and a whole new world was opened for me.

"Exciter" - Judas Priest. The vocals, the guitars, the tempo! First Judas Priest song I ever heard. Made me a life-long fan.

"Trapped Under Ice" - Metallica. Kirk Hammett was the best guitarist on the planet then! Still my favorite Metallica song.

"Unforgiven" - Metallica. The lyrics were so amazingly dead-on to what I was feeling it was like I wrote them myself.

"Stargazer" - Rainbow. I liked the story the lyrics told and Ronnie James Dio (my favorite singer) was amazing on this song.

Sunday Sunday by Blur -Destroyed my sense on how I look at life and from that Christmas day on I was a fan and I had a very positive outlook on life.

Post Soothing Out by Art Brut - Influenced the style of music I play on the guitar instead of the crap my band was suggesting we play, like Modest Mouse and Weezer.

Both destroyed my senses and changed my life.

American Woman by The Guess Who was the very first rock song I ever heard and has made me a rockhead since all that time. Now I am old, grey , none the wiser and a bit deaf.
