I'm not a parent, so maybe I'm not the best person to answer, but could I suggest that you try to think back to the time that you were their age and remember the feelings and problems you faced at that time? Have you tried just sitting down and talking to them what is going on in their lives? Maybe they won't want to talk, but then again maybe they will.
Also, if you are talking about teenagers, keep in mind that they are going through the horribly awkward transition from child to adult. They're still developing physically, mentally, and emotionally, dealing with raging hormones, peer pressure, and trying on different roles as they figure out who they are as individuals, separate from their parents.

all you hve to do is communicate with us.we're listening most of the time. but there is little communication around for us to listen to take care.
