Besides shooting your other Friend, not much. This is a situation that happens all the time, especially when someone you like asks out somebody else. Most of the time the guy doesn't know how the other person feels about them so the natural thing happens. Tell Her that he didn't do it to hurt her and maybe she should get the word out about her feelings for John so he has some clue about Her liking him. That should make her feel a little better because it wasn't deliberate. Good Luck

I'm sure your friend may be hurt, or even jealous, but if she gives it time, she will eith move on and find someone new (there is other fish in the sea) or John will break it off with your other friend and it will be the 1st friend time to step in and make her move. The best thing you can do right now is just be there for your friend. Time will tell, but friends are forever!!! Good Luck!

no guy is worth crying over, but go out and scope out new cute boys with her...go shopping, encourage John bashing, it will be fun for both of you, and if this other girl was a real friend she said no to John right??? Then all three of you can hang out and John bash. It's always makes you feel better when your friends have your back

Two of you have a girls night out. And if you hear her bitching on your other friend, remind her that 'John' picked the on HE liked. That doesnt mean she wont find another guy cause you both know she will. Just wish them the best and hers will come.

Tell her that everything happens for a reason. Maybe he wasn't the guy for her. It is his loss, not hers.
Why don't you treat her out to a movie or dinner. I bet she would like that. Do something to get him off her mind.
Ahh, I've got it. Find her a better looking guy to focus on. Someone that likes her. -Good luck.

let her know that there are a lot of other guys out there. and that she shouldn't get mad at all at her friend because its not her fault that the guy asked her out..tell her to give it some time and before she knows it she will find someone

To me it seems like your friend is way too good for this John guy. Tell her that she doesn't need him. PLus, if he doesn't like her than why does she like him if there is no chance.

i would explain that there are more guys out there, and maybe point some out to her that she might like or something. just kinda be there for her and also let her know that their relationship might not work out and then she could possibly get a chance with him.
