u can base it on romeo & juliet, runaway teenagers getting married (like Shylocks daughter in Merchant of Venice ) prince charming and the princess, rapuzel all locked up waiting for her prince,

just change it a little like rapunzel is trapped by a big ugly troll with heaps of warts and he breathes ice and has snot coming out of his nose.

also twistedtattler's story is good

Two down and out homeless people meet. Each has a small amount of Social Security money coming in each month plus money they individually scrabble and scrape together on an everyday basis just to survive (some in good ways and some in not so good ways). Together they figure they can combine their money and get a place together at least to get of the streets. I could go on, but this is what you asked for.

Location: Just pick a city (needs to be really cold)
When: Summer when everything seems warm and wonderful but winter is coming soon and desperation, loneliness, and sorry starts sneaking in.

It happens in FRANCE, A man puffing a cigarette in the shadows, tall, slim and alone. The streets then fill with people, the theatre performance has just finished.. there, he saw her.. surrounded by photographers, by paparazzi. After the hassle, she walks past him.. glanced and moved on. He ran up to her and tapped her shoulder...and the rest is up to you.

Put yourself into your main protagonist's shoes and place her in several different love scenes--both usual and bizarre. Then choose the one you believe will catch the reader's attention immediately.

Be mindful of who you want your audience to be. Harlequin style, erotic, or anything forced upon your heroine.
